An MBA (or Master's of Business Administration) is now an extremely important tool in establishing a successful career in business. An MBA is a postgraduate degree by coursework offered by most business schools to college graduates who (preferably) have a few years of work experience. Some companies are willing to sponsor their employees to get MBAs either while they are working (part-time) or during a hiatus from their employment (with a contract to return afterwards). Most business people in management positions have MBAs, and the coursework focuses on both the technical areas (such as finance and economics) and the personal skills (such as leadership and management) required by the corporate world.
